Tour Itinerary:

• Hotel pick-up at your chosen time.
• Scenic Drive to the Sanctuary (approximately 3.5 hours): Relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the Romanian countryside as you journey towards the Carpathian Mountains.
• Guided Tour of the Sanctuary (approximately 1 hour):
  • Embark on a local guided walking tour with a local English speaking expert guide, learning about the sanctuary’s history, mission, and the individual stories of the rescued bears.
  • Follow a two-kilometer forest path, observing the bears as they roam, play, and forage in their spacious natural enclosures.
  • Gain insights into the challenges faced by bears in captivity and the importance of conservation efforts.
• Free Time for Lunch (flexible): Enjoy a leisurely lunch break somewhere on the way or by the Sanctuary, savoring traditional Romanian cuisine

*The Sanctuary is open from Tuesday to Sunday. On Mondays Sanctuary is closed for maintenance reasons.
